4. Etranger
Hyururira… where are you looking?
In the window, even this little bit of scar won’t be found
Suddenly, the sky starts to become cloudy
Outside, a miniature garden covered with blue rust
I gazed at it in silence with a sleepy face
Why did it get old?
I couldn’t defy the magic of time
It seems as if the days that passed where we said
‘don’t go further than that’ are entwined
Even now, I’m still not able to forget
the melody of my childhood
In this city where I wandered, only the wind sings
Laughing scornfully about my past soaked with tears
So that my heart that got wet won’t be perceived
I fled for the sky
Even though I got close to the magic of time
It’s nowhere to be found anymore
Until it’s about to get torn to pieces
I tried reaching out my hands
The more I kept longing for more than that
My dreams pass through before my eyes
In a corner of the city,
Small chamomiles are swaying
Someday, when this heart loses its spirit
Please let me hear this song one more time
Just a bit longer until I reach the city beyond the sun
So, saying ‘don’t go further than this’,
I embraced the trembling you
This wandering me will become a never-disappearing wind
waiting for the morning
In this city where I wandered, only the wind sings
In this seemingly asleep city, I only want to dream
